With the 2010 year already here, it has brought many new goals and ideas. The lodge officers and I have set many goals that we would like to see happen within the year. Such as: increasing attendance at lodge functions, accepting credit cards at the OA trading post, having an online trading post, and making the Dulaney/ Fall Fellowship run smoothly. We have also been working on introducing the new Lodgemaster program to better suit the needs of the membership chair, and to assist in the organization of our members. Quality Lodge isn’t only making 30% brotherhood and getting positive growth. It isn’t the meeting between the key three. Quality Lodge, to me, is being a lodge that meets its member’s needs; a lodge that not only has events that run smoothly, but events that are fun and draw the interest of its contingent. We should be constantly listening to the new ideas that are being presented by our fellow arrowmen.

The few goals that were mentioned are but a small portion of the list we have set as a lodge. It may seem challenging to meet these goals now, but remember it is only January. We have an entire year to meet these goals, and with the hard work and dedication that we have proved ourselves capable of, we can accomplish these goals and take Nentico Lodge further into the future.

Lastly, would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to the lodge over the past years. It is my honor to accept this position, and I am deeply humbled by the opportunity that you have given me. 2009 was a great year. Now let’s make 2010 even better.

Yours In Cheerful Service,
Mike A. Staskowiak
